Before you Paddle
Is there an age limit?
Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver/permission. Children under the age of 7 must ride with an adult on the double kayak. Children 6 and older can ride in single kayaks based on parent discretion.
Is there a weight limit?
Single kayaks are 275lbs. Double kayaks are 500lbs.
How many kayaks do you have available?
We have 6 single kayaks and one double kayak available right now. We can accommodate 9 people with 3 on the double kayak.
Where are you located?
We are located at 711 East Main Street in the upper parking lot, the same as the brewpub. We are all the way in the back of that parking lot by the boat launch.
When is kayaking season?
We will operate from March - November.
What is provided with my rental?
We will provide you with the Kayak, life jacket, and a paddle for your rental. We also have waterproof phone cases available to you. You do not need to bring anything but some sunscreen and water for hot days!
What happens if the weather is bad?
If we cancel the day due to the weather we will automatically refund online bookings.
Can I bring my own kayak?
The Old Mill Pond is privately owned, and due to insurance and liability, you are not able to bring your own kayak/ paddle board.
