Is there an age limit?
The minimum age to rent a kayak is 12 years old with a parent/guardian present. Anyone 12-17 will need a parent/guardian present to sign the waiver for them.
Is there a weight limit?
There is a 275 pound weight limit to our kayaks.
Where are you located?
We are located at 711 east main street in the upper parking lot, the same as the brewpub. We are all the way in the back of that parking lot by the boat launch.
What do I need to bring for my rental?
You will not need to bring anything to your rental, we will provide everything you need for a smooth and safe rental.
Can I bring my own kayak?
No, due to the insurance and liability you will not be able to bring your own kayak/paddleboard.
What if I show up late for my rental?
If you show up late to the rental you will still be able to go up to the end of your hour rental but we will not be able to extend the time to give you a full hour because of our set schedule.
What if I go over my time slot?
If you go over your time, an extra hour will be charged to the account so please refrain from doing this. This is to stay on a strict schedule for renters after you.
What is provided with my rental?
We will provide you with the Kayak, life jacket, and a paddle for your rental.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If we cancel the day due to the weather we will automatically refund online bookings.
Where can I store my phone?
We have waterproof phone holders included in all rentals if you would like one.
